Black Jumper Set for Corbin/Breyer G5 Irish Draft

Lovely black English tack set to fit my current favorite plastic mold, Corbin. Included:

  • General purpose English saddle with all my usual details and a monoflap construction that allows the girth to just sticky wax to the bottom of the saddle. No need to mess with billets at this scale!

  • Matching contour girth.

  • Standard breastplate that hooks onto the saddle's D rings and buckles onto the girth via a functional slip buckle - the only buckle you'll actually need to do to tack this set up!

  • Snaffle bridle with padded nose and browbands, etched bit, non-removable flash, and "rubber" reins. The bridle sticky waxes into place via a split on the crownpiece, so no buckling is required.

  • Pair of white synthetic open front boots that simply sticky wax into place.

  • White quilted pad with periwinkle braided trim.

All buckles are complete with tongues and bitty keepers, but are non-functional (except for the breastplate's attachment to the girth). The breastplate is entirely removable from the saddle/girth for major flexibility in the kinds of classes this set could cover!

Stablemate Tack FAQ:

Q: Will this set also fit (insert other mold here)?
A: Saddles and girths will generally fit other molds with similarly shaped/sized barrels, but bridles are fitted very closely to the mold I’ve listed and because they aren’t adjustable, I can only guarantee they’ll properly fit the mold I’ve designated.

Q: Is it hard to tack up?
A: I care about making tack that looks good from the outside, so I’d rather spare internal tack structures for the sake of user friendliness. All of my saddles lack sweat flaps and billets, instead only having one big flap that the girth simply sticky waxes onto. Stirrups are non-adjustable. My bridles all have faux tongue buckles and a split on the crownpiece that makes tacking up as easy as slipping the bridle onto the horse’s head, sticky waxing the crownpiece and browband down, and sticky waxing the bit into the horse’s mouth.

Q: Can you make me (insert other accessory to add to the sales set here)?
A: All requests for additional pieces to a sales set are considered commissioned items, so you’ll have to check my commissions page for info! I unfortunately cannot give priority to sales sets customers when it comes to commissions.

Q: I’ve purchased some tack and I want to know how to take care of it?
A: First and foremost, even though all of my tack is made of fully sealed leather, dye transfer can still happen! Unless the model wearing the tack is a designated performance horse, I recommend being very mindful of how long your tack stays on your model. A day at a live show should be fine, but weeks on end, maybe not. Personally, if I’m showing a model in halter and performance, I only keep their tack on for as long as their class is being judged, especially if they have light coloring!

The biggest risk to Stablemate tack is pieces getting dropped or otherwise lost, so I recommend keeping the little plastic container your tack arrives in to keep all the little bits and pieces together when they’re not on a horse.

Stablemate tack is very tiny and very delicate! Despite my best efforts, sometimes things get broken down the line. If your tack sustains any damages or breaks, please shoot me an email! If it’s a super easy fix, I’ll walk you through it, otherwise repair services are always free as long as I’m available (unfortunately I cannot guarantee I will be active in the hobby and available for repairs forever and always). You’ll just have to cover postage of your tack to me and home again.
